Good Friday
And I’m too scared to go to church?
Or just don’t want to
Don’t want to be faced with death
To see the most selfless man be hanged
When we see black Jesuses die on the screens every day
I’m sure it was a spectacle to see
Back then
To be crucified
Now we’re just numb
And dumbstruck
